This seems a no-brainer, and I'm almost hesitant to bring it up lest I perhaps come across as insulting, but if you intend to buy only one pen to be your "high quality writing instrument," I strongly suggest you try it out, or one like it (same model), before plunking down your hard-earned federal reserve notes, or pound notes, or euros, or whatever it is that changes hands in transactions in your neck of the woods. I've had the experience of buying a pen on eBay that I thought I'd like, only to discover that I didn't really like the way it felt in my hand once it arrived. Looks aren't everything.

Here is something a little different... https://goldspot.com/products/viscon...-ballpoint-pen

The material feels great in hand, very unique. My midi fountain pen is my current go to pen, even among my Montblanc, Pelikan, Parkers, etc.
