Default homemade fountain pen V7 prototype gold nib with tungsten carbide point

    Greetings,

I'd like to introduce you my prototype fountain pen i made a while back.

The material for barrel, cap, grip section, as well as the feed is ebonite.

the nib is made from 14K gold.

the tip of the nib has been somewhat oxidized for some reason, but can be polished again.

this fountain pen is quite special, as the point of the pen is tungsten carbide.

as opposed to traditional "iridium" point, tungsten carbide is a lot harder than iridium.

estimated expected wear life would be over hundred years.

it simply is near impossible to wear down with paper.

although this was charming idea at first, i decided to drop the project,,,

it is explained in the video.

this fountain pen was my first, created with all the parts i personally made.
