    Default A Few Recent Pens

Well, I really hope someone else starts posting some pen pix soon. Meanwhile, here are a few pics of recent pens I have made to order:

A couple of cumberland ebonite pens in my 'Bamboo' style:

Here's another 'Bamboo' style fountain pen in a rusty/fiery acrylic:

And finally, a Clipless FP in my 'Classic' style, out of tiger stripey acrylic:

    Comments and critique welcome.

OK, come on now - I know there are some other pen makers here, let's see some eye candy!

    Ken

Hmmm...accidentally got an extra 'attachment' here, not sure how to get rid of that. Sorry for the redundancy.

I too love the bamboo ones, unfortunately I haven't quite reached 'save up' mode for one yet. It's coming.

Your cumberland ebonite pens in your 'Bamboo' style look fantastic. The others look very handsome too.

I posted the acrylic Bamboo (whoa, oxymoron, no?) on another thread. Hope you don't mind. Attributed the photos to you.

I buy it as 'Rust and Black'. But I really don't think that name suits it well. Each seller pretty much makes up their own names for the acrylics, so I'm open to suggestions for a name so that I have a way to refer to this stuff.

    Cheers,

    Ken

I love the cumberland ebonite pens! The raised bamboo style brings out the striations in the ebonite... gorgeous!

Like! If you ever make a smaller version, you could call it the bambino.

Have you ever turned a bamboo pen out of actual, um, bamboo? Just curious on the logistics of that.

One of the many things in the 'planning' bin. Just got some bamboo in, have some designs I want to try out. When time permits. Sigh...
