How can you get the picture.......?

I'm new here & technologically challenged.
Somehow, when I joined fpGeeks, I was able to upload a picture of the Rusty Rat brooch I've just finished, to the "My Profile" part of this site.

Today I have been more observant than usual & noticed that the picture is indeed at the top of my profile page, but it's missing from underneath my user name, on the thread posts.

How can you get the picture that's on the "My Profile" onto the threads?
BTW, what do they call the pictures (photos, drawings etc.....) that go under the user names?

That is called your Avatar. Go to Settings at the top then on the left column, edit avatar.

You can use the same picture if you want BUT you need to scale the avatar picture to 80x80 IIRC.

If I Recall Correctly.

Any photo program should handle resizing pictures; Photoshop, Corel, even Paint.

Though the learning curve is steep,... Elements 7 seems to have done something.
