Super Rare Vintage Lamy 47C
For sale is a super rare (you know that I don't use this term to often) vintage LAMY 47 C fountain pen from 1952. This pen is a true collectors item for the serious LAMY collector. The condition is mint and unused (except drawer wear). Even the cork seal is original (and still tight!)
The LAMY 47 seems to be an economical brother of the LAMY 27. Everything on this pen is identical to the very first LAMY 27 pens with fully hooded nib, except the following two things:
1. the nib is stainless steel instead of 14 ct. Gold (the nib is EF and the blind cap is marked with EF)
2. the slip cap is chrome plated instead of gold plated or stainless steel
This pen is the only one I ever have seen, physically and virtually. Maybe it belonged to a small test-serie for spanish, or south american market since it is stamped "Registrada" which means: registered trademark.
