Default Lunchtime ink review: Waterman Mysterious Blue

Lunchtime ink reviews! I'm taking one ink to work each day and doing one of these during my lunch.

Waterman Mysterious Blue, dip test with TWSBI Eco 1.1mm stub, on Rhodia dotpad.

This one lives up to its current name - I already know it can look like entirely different colours in different pens and can come out a lot greener than this. The wettest areas are greener and also have some red sheen. It changes colour as it dries, becoming less blue.

I included a second photo of the water not otherwise colour-corrected - the change of angle is making it photograph more like the lightness it really had. And to the eye that water was teal green not blue!

Great review and I'm still using my 'original' bottle of their Blue-Black. Great ink and like the old Quink version - I can cope with the teal effect!

I really like this color. I think it was the first blue-black I received (in a PIF).

Totally different colour. Quink is much bluer and brighter.

Great review. I always believed the whole "mystery" about this ink was the colour is actually green Just kidding.

One of my favorite inks. I really like the teal color it seems to change into after it's dry.

I love this! Elephants fascinate me and your art is beautiful. Thats certainly frame worthy. I may get a small bottle of this ink.
