    Default ~FS~ 3 Vintage FP's - Continental Safety Pen - Parker (2)

    Hi all,

These pens have been restored inside and outside and are ready to fill with ink and use, unless noted otherwise.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, Shipping, Etc." at the bottom of this post.

#1. 1920's or early 30's Simplex continental safety fountain pen rolled gold with engine turned pattern. The only damage I found is 2 mm dent in the tapered part towards the barrel end, just under the engine turned design. I cannot find any brassing on the pen. The top of the cap has a flower design. The roller clip has a flower and leaf design. This is an eyedropper fill pen. The nib is propelled and retracted with a knob on the barrel end. The nib is a flexible Extra Fine warranted No. 2. The cork seal has been replaced. Capped the pen measures 4 7/8 inches or 12.4 cm. This is a really beautiful pen and my photos do not do it justice.

Price $375.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc.below."

    2. 1940's Parker 51 in Navy Gray (a scarce color) with raised "stacked coin" Lustraloy cap. The cap has been nicely refinished. There is no date code and apparently this color did not have date codes. About the Navy Gray color, according to Richard's Pens: "Although Burgundy and Navy Gray are not commonly thought to be official U.S. production colors, they are listed on the factory card from which the color codes are taken. It is possible that they were produced in small quantities as a test run as Parker prepared to introduce the Aero-metric “51”. I have seen no pens in these colors that bear date codes." This pen has a Vacumatic filling system. The nib is a smooth writing fat Fine 14K, with generous ink flow. The photo of the pen with the cap off is actually a bit lighter than it should be. The photo with the cap on is more accurate.

Price $395.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc.below."

    3. ~SOLD~ to L.M.

1944 Duofold Senior in green and brown stripes. These are also call a DuoVac by collectors. The pen has a "Victory" aka "V" nib. The only real problem I noticed with the pen, it has a Vacumatic style feather clip, instead of the flat Duofold clip, but the are easily replaced. The clip has some brassing around the ring part. The nib is a smooth writing Extra Fine 14K. Capped the pen measures 5 5/16 or 13.5 cm.

~SOLD~ to L.M. $165.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc.below."

    Rules, Shipping, Etc.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
    international customers are always welcome.

Prices are post paid in the U.S., and will be shipped with a tracking
number and insurance. I normally ship inside the U.S. by U.S.
Postal Service Priority Mail. I also ship to other countries by Priority
Mail. I can also ship to other countries by Express International Mail,
if you request it, but it is costly.

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. If there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund
will be offered. If you find a problem and choose to send the item
(pen, mechanical pencil, etc.) to someone else to be corrected, I will
not be responsible for any other problems.

    Happy penning!
