Default Please help identify my Cross fountain Pen

    Hi,
Can someone help me identify one of my cross pens? I'm trying to get a converter for it and the ones i have don't fit.
It's pictured next to a century II so it's the blue one i'm trying to work out what it is and if i can get a converter for it.

Looks like a couple of Townsend’s. I think they take the push Cross converters, but if those are the ones you have tried they take the threaded ones,

I've tried the screw in ones - maybe i'l have to try the push ones. when i put the score in ones the body of the pen won't do up. Are the push in ones shorter, do you know?

I don’t have any accessible at the moment, but they are a green tint rather than an orange/amber tint. They should fit snuggly and do depress into the housing like a centimeter or so.

The Cross Townsend definitely needs a green push in converter not a screw in. These both look like Townsends to me too.

The purple one is definitely a century II I bought it new at the weekend. It’s the blue one I can’t remember as I bought it a few years ago.
I’ve tried to identify it on the cross site it looks like it may be a botanical but the looks of the cap - or it could be something they discontinued 🤷*♀️ Very frustrating

According to what I always believed the Cross Century 11 takes a screw in converter and the Cross Townsend takes a push in converter. The Townsend is a slightly bigger pen than the Century.

I have emailed Cross, their customer service is pretty good - although they haven't confirmed which model it is they have suggested it should work with the screw in type adapter so i have to send it in for repair. i do love how cross have a lifetime warranty hopefully they can fix my pen. - i know sometimes if they can't fix it they just send you a replacement pen. :/
