Whoa! Having to lay low and work from my "portable office" in a semi-civilised place whilst the viral humdinger does its thing. No more foreign assignments for a while. Can not a pen be made from more or less anything that can be fashioned into a tube? Therefore the limit would be for what is stable, practical, cost effective, easy to use and so on. Or at least one, some or all the usual factors. Is the thread starter instead asking what materials pens ARE/HAVE BEEN made from, rather than what they CAN be made from? I may have gotten the wrong end of the stick, you see.
