So, I was right: a prototype.

Sir,
Indeed you were right, you have impressive knowledge.
I have a favour to ask you please. ( or anyone else )
If you have a 1997 Mk I Duofold please can photograph the underside of the nib.
Would really like to know if the actual end feed is finned, unlike the Mk II which is of course is flat.
Many thanks

Many thanks again Chrissy.
Got the images I wanted.
Just wanted to confirm that finned nib feed was mock up, a concept blank.
Following on in a similar theme.
Please do have a look at this pen.
I would be very interested to know what members think of it.
I'm not an expert, just remembered that Tony from parkerpens.net had some prototypes for sale couple of years ago.

When I first looked at it ( this was the best image I was able to look at )
I thought just another fake.
After a few hours I looked at it again.
The nib section is very different, it was nothing that I had seen before.
Then bought it, it is expected to arrive in the next few days.
Later whilst researching the Duofold International Concept / Prototype, I saw the parkerpens.net page that you have mentioned usk15.
It was just luck.
Hopefully it will be something quite special, we will see.
( usk15 - you have an expert eye Sir, I thought I knew all the Channel Island Parker collectors, say hello to Julio, St Clement )

For those interested.
Stumbled into this Parker 45 Coronet prototype today
I thought it was interesting given that the P50 arrived in 1978
As mentioned previously
Better photography of the Sonnet Concept pen.
( The informed will know the collection they came from )
Sold both this and the Duofold today, I only ever had a desire to look at them both.
