yes you should have - that's an amazing ink, especially when it transitions from a seawater green to a mellow khaki during the drying and maturing process - just as green tea does when it sits in a cup for a while!

I have two Iroshihzuku inks. KWZ-Walk Over Vistula is similar to Yama dori, but it is a more wet ink. I do have several bottles of Sailor ink, but when these are gone they are gone for good. I did get a back up bottle of Yama dori about 3 years ago. I do love Kiwa guro, but I may switch to Platinum Carbon Black when this bottle runs out. Rikyu cha is similar to Noodler's Burma Road Brown, and a KWZ ink I have. I can't think of the name of the KWZ ink at the moment.
Many ink producers seem to be going this way. Didn't MB do the same?

I've recently ordered some Krishna ink in small (20 ml?) bottles...six bucks. Krishna used to be all over fleabay, and now I can't find the bottles, though I always wanted to try the brand. I got mine from Van Ness...don't know who is still selling them. They may be disappearing soon, like Chesterfield.
I only have one bottle of MB ink. (Irish Green) So price does matter to me. I don't do fleabay. I have never tried Krishna, but some of it looks good. KWZ ink used to be cheaper, and I loved that. When they increased the price it was a bummer. I got the Walk Over Vistula as a gift a while back. I do want the Baltic Memories, I did get to fill one of my pens with that ink though. I really like highly water resistant inks, and I heard they are going to make some of this in the future. They may already have some out now. I haven't looked at any pen related items, since I can't get anything new these days. I am in no danger of running out of ink though, that is for sure.

I agree, it is an amazing ink. I love it! I only have one bottle though, with no backup.

Pen Chalet apparently still has some 50ml Sailor Jentle bottles left, including Rikyu-Cha for about $11. No Yama-Dori, though.

NEXT DAY: False alarm. Sorry. See second post below. Dang!

Their swatches page (https://www.penchalet.com/ink_refill...ottle_ink.html) is acting quirky -- you click on a swab and it shows you a price. Today it's showing either $11.11 or $16 or $22.22 for the Rikyu-Cha, if you click around the swatches randomly. Weird. Oh, blast it. There's a dropdown menu that shows remaining stock, and Rikyu-Cha isn't listed there. I think I saw it there yesterday. Must have just sold the last one. #£@$%^&****!!

    SORRY.

Different prices for different colors. The Jentle Blue lists at $11.11...Kin Mouseki was $16.something. Still not bad for soon-to-be-unobtainium inks.

If I hadn't just landed nine new inks....

They aren't going to be completely unobtainium, but will cost more as they will only be available in smaller bottles. Rikyucha and Kinmokusei are both still available in the new 20ml Shikiori version at Cult Pens. Also check out the newer colours like Yodaki and Yonaga.

Got an email today from Anderson Pens on the new Bungubox ink bottles. (Bungubox ink is made by Sailor). They look just like the very old style Montblanc shoe bottles and have shrunk to a 30 ml size instead of the older 50 ml bottle. Price has increased from $43 to a new price of $49 for the smaller size. They still have the 50 ml size for some of the other Bungubox inks but I don't know if they will be replaced by the new bottles as they sell out. (Not that I could afford them at the old price. ) Are these "NEW and IMPROVED" colors or what??

    https://andersonpens.com/ink/bungubox/bottled-ink/

The price of samples went from $3.75/3ml to $7.75/3ml.

I see some recognisable old colours in there. However, at $49 for 30ml are they having a laugh?

... and Sei Boku is now Sou Boku, darker than before and in a cube bottle, still at $24.- for 50ml. the standard inks (blue, black and blue-black) seem unaffected so far and are a real bargain at $12.50/50ml?!? ...or will they be replaced as well???

Seiboku and Souboku are quite different. They are made differently and are distinctly different colours. I reviewed both of them recently.

Looks like they finally responded to all the complaints about their shallow bottles. But at what a price -- it's almost as if they said, "You don't like these 50 ml. bottles? Fine. How do you like these apples... ?"

Reminds me of an old episode of "Monk" in which an old codger dissolved a fortune in gold into some kind of liquid and used it for ink, and wrote a library full of books with it, effectively hiding the gold until Monk figures it out a century and a half later.

I've never heard of "Monk," but it sounds like a good story. We had a similar one where a family fortune in gold was used as a grave stone that was then coated with concrete until the detective found out years later and solved the case.

Flash! Breaking news! As of 15 seconds ago, nibs.com had at least one 50ml bottle of Rikyu cha left at $18. Sold out of Yama dori, though.

The detective's name is Adrian Monk, and he suffers from intense OCD. He notices the tiniest inconsistencies everywhere, and it helps him solve crimes. An American TV series that is still popular in reruns.
