Default Lunchtime ink review: Franklin-Christoph Sweet Maroon

Lunchtime ink reviews! I'm taking one ink to work each day and doing one of these during my lunch.

Franklin-Christoph Sweet Maroon, dip test with TWSBI Eco 1.1mm stub, on Rhodia dotpad.

Sample also from dapprman at the London pen club meet.

I liked this one. It isn't a purple maroon, it shades well and it has a bit of green sheen in the wettest areas, which gives a nice extra aspect to the shadows when sketching.

(It photographed way too saturated a red, so I had to tone it down a lot. Also, the text is too dark).

That's a lovely red. I love how it ranges pink to dark red.
