    Default My Studio Review

Here is a handwritten review of the Lamy Studio I just purchased. I am pleasantly surprised with this pen. I don't know that I've ever had a Lamy F nib and I like it. Smooth and wet. The notebook is a Pebble Stationery pocket notebook with Tomoe River dot grid sheets.

Thanks for the review. I am hoping to try one of these at some point this year.

You are right that Studio is very smooth, I have some (including this dark blue) and it's really enjoyable to write with it.

Nice review of this pen. I really like the Studio for its modern look and spectacular clip shape.

I have a Studio bought very cheap. Came with medium nib, and currently using a generic EF worked out to be smooth. Is this really F? I reminds me a lot the M nib that came with the pen. The black is gorgeous.

I an Aquamarine Studio and I really like it. Lovely color. I DESPISE the clip though and like the pen despite the ugly and awkward clip. I much prefer the clip on the Aion or the Scala.

I bought a dark forest, with EF nib

It gave me feed issues, skipping, dry start, etc after I installed a new cartridge.
By a suggestion from another forum, I pushed the feed back a little and it "clicked" in place... problem solved

Now I like this pen better, it is a nice balanced pen, with luscious flow (even with Lamy Black). From the Lamys I've had this and the Logo (F) which I bought almost 25yrs ago are probably the 2 I would keep for EDC

Finish is gorgeous, the shimmering black.green looks elegant and the click when posting is a very nice touch.

Unposted works better for me though, I get less tired.

PS 2022 - After a year of using the pen it's still often in the rotation. It looks good and feels good.
The EF nib is good for me.
