John Lee Hooker was another of her heroes and mentors. She recorded "I'm in the Mood" with him and they won a grammy with it. She's also played with a bunch of other blues greats, including Howlin' Wolf and B.B. King.
Meanwhile, right now I'm listening to "The Sky is Crying" by Gary B. B. Coleman. It sounds nothing like the way Elmore James does it, especially the guitar, but man, is it tasty. One of my all time favorites. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71Gt46aX9Z4

The trio of Beach Boys songs, Surf's Up, Heroes and Villains, and Sail on Sailor. Surf's Up has to be one of the most difficult songs to sing along with. Love it nevertheless.

Just watched a 2006 documentary film of a 1985 concert in Berlin by the Oscar Peterson Trio (on Netflix).
It's a pure concert film, with no commentary, interviews, etc. The camera is on the performers and the music is magnificent.
If you like bravura jazz piano (as opposed to laid-back lurking in the shadows) you'll love this.

Personally I find it fascinating, the energy is amazing ….and check out the crowd !!

Awesome! Even though the days of listening to metal are well in the past, this was quite infectious!.
Edited to add. I continue to drift through genres, as I've done most of my life, and often find myself in surprising palaces of fun. Lately (last year or two) I've been into a couple of subgenres of trance - specifically euphoric trance and psybient.
