Default Onoto, the modern pen made in the past

    Hi all

Whilst browsing YouTube I stumbled across this video from the Onoto factory

    https://youtu.be/YYKu7NRJlnA

Onoto the modern pen made in the past, that workshop is straight out of the 40's

I didn't have time to watch it yet, but I don't want you to think that no one appreciates this.

    So thank you!

Thank you for this. Quite interesting.

I confess Onoto is not a brand I made atention to. I certainly will look differently at their pens.

Thank you for the link; I thought Onoto was an old defunct Japanese pen company based on the name.

By the looks of the video, they can certainly lay claim to hand stamped!

Good to see them reborn: https://onoto.com/pens/

I find it interesting that the name Onoto is now viewed as a historical pen company still going strong, but IIRC Onoto was a model of pen actually made by the De La Rue pen company, yet now it's a company name and the company is using the history of De La Rue as their own.

It is nice to see UK made pens though.

Thank you for the link. Please do NOT show it to the local Health & Safety people. I am surprised that the gentleman shown operating the machine without a guard at 40 seconds from the start still has all his fingers.

It does seem to be quite a popular thing to do nowadays doesn't it and not just in the pen world.
