FS: BHR Duofold Sr. | Mandarin & Lapis Duofold Sr. Pencils

Condition Notes: All pens listed below have been disassembled, cleaned and restored with new sacs installed in the last couple weeks. Each is guaranteed to fill and write as designed without leaks or other issues. Nibs have been adjusted when necessary to ensure that all lay down a smooth and consistent line.

These pens and pencils have no cracks, chips, personal engravings, missing parts, bent nibs, misaligned tines, or threading issues.


1. 1923-5 BHR Parker Duofold Senior (smooth BHR, GFT, button filler, 14k F nib). Measuring a hair over 5 1/2" capped, this is the earlier, oversized Sr. model in black hard rubber with large Duofold imprint – much harder to find than the Permanite models. Correct 14k Duofold Sr. nib lays down a smooth and consistent F line (see writing sample). Condition: all foregoing condition notes apply. Fully restored with brand new pressure bar and gives a strong, full fill. Hard rubber retains its dark black hue with minimal oxidation. Smooth, lustrous finish with no deep scratches or any other notable blemishes. Gold-filled trim is cleaner than most: typical sliver of brassing on the clip ball; a thin sliver around the bottom edge of the cap band, and another that extends 1/4 around the top edge of the cap band. 'DUOFOLD' imprint is deep and crisp. Lucky Curve banner imprint is weaker in the center, but otherwise fully legible. Note: box not included; for display purposes only. Price: $280 $250











2. c. 1927 Parker Duofold Sr. MP in Lapis Blue-on-Blue. Measures a hair over 5 1/2" with Duofold Sr. imprint on the barrel. Fully operational mechanical pencil retracts, propels, and grips lead as designed. Condition: Plating is clean aside from the typical sliver of brassing on the clip ball. Removable crown is free of dents or other significant blemishes aside from one spot where the rolled edge on the top has been pressed down shown in 2nd photo (most crop up are in much worse shape). Smooth, lustrous finish with no significant flaws aside from one scratch from the clip ball. Deep, crisp imprint. Price: $90 SOLD


3. c. 1927 Parker Duofold Sr. MP in Mandarin Yellow. Measures a hair over 5 1/2" with Duofold Sr. imprint on the barrel. Fully operational mechanical pencil retracts, propels, and grips lead as designed. Condition: Plating is clean aside from the typical sliver of brassing on the clip ball. Removable crown is pristine aside from a couple shallow dings and one spot on the rolled edge on the top that is ever so slightly less than straight (see 2nd photo). Smooth, lustrous finish with no significant flaws aside from some pin-sized nicks on one side of the barrel (see 2nd photo). No cracks whatsoever. Deep, crisp imprint. Price: $140 $125
