For Sale Seven Vintage Flex Pens
These are all great pens, but, since I don't use them as much as I used to, I think they should go to better homes. All have gold nibs, all have wear customary in vintage pens, including worn lever trim, but no teeth marks or gouges, and no deep or large scratches unless specifically noted (Number 7). All have been professionally restored and are in proper working order. There are additional photos on Photobucket, which you can see by clicking one of the photos here. The first photo shows all of them together with the Pilot Falcon I'm also selling, to provide an idea of size.
Please PM with questions or to buy a pen. All prices are before shipping. US buyers are preferred, due to the cost and difficulty of shipping abroad. If you buy more than one, I'll happily combine shipping.
These are listed in order beginning with the most flexible, in my opinion. None are wet noodles or full flex, but all are semi-flex.
1. Eversharp Skyline Gray Moire Demi: this demi-sized pen in the hard-to-find Modern Stripe celluloid is gorgeous. It's slightly smaller, at 4 7/8 inches capped versus about 5 1/4 for the full-size. It flexes easily from fine to extra-broad, but can be easily controlled by a non-expert like me. SOLD.
2. Wearever with Eversharp nib, modified by Greg Minuskin. This Frankenpen may not be much to look at, but fill it with ink to appreciate the wonderful flex from extra-fine to broad. SOLD.
3. Sheaffer Balance Junior Carmine Striated: another Minuskin. This is a smooth medium nib that flexes to extra-broad. It's my favorite color Sheaffer striated celluloid, too. SOLD.
