Write clubs
Ok, here's a crazy idea - but what would happen if the different fountain pen clubs around the world actually wrote to each other?
Either is a postcrossing sense of randomness, or something more measured.
The clubs could write about their location, history of the club or town, famous writers/pen users/pen makers, the memberships, their favourite pens, poems, recipes, or inks.
The letters can then be passed around the clubs. If they want to correspond, they can or not.
It could be a simple letter exchange - or organised in a postcrossing manner - at each meeting the club writes to a different club. They could nominate a member, have a standard page - or even just exchange postcards.
Anyone have any thoughts on how this could be done?
I just can't help thinking that pen clubs writing to each other across the world might be kind of nice.
