I had a guess, but after comparing chromas, I'll be astonished if this is it.
My other pen is a Montblanc.

And my other blog is a tumblr!

There just can't be that many inks this color. So it must be easy to guess - right? Nope!

I have one main idea, but I'm not convinced.

This is probably a dumb question but how do I add a scanned image. I want to use that instead of just taking a picture of it like i have in the past. I have the image scanned but it's saying "add url" and I just don't know how to do that.

I think you have to save it to your computer, then put it on something like Flickr or Instagram or your own server.

At least, that's how we do it.... -_-

Hopefully this scanned image will actually show.

The scan made it look darker than it does on the original copy it is a very interesting ink. When I cleaned the syringe that I use to fill the converter it made the water neon green and in the sample vial it looked like it was going to be a dark green ink so it is a very tricky ink. I always like trying really cheap paper first and this ink did very well on the Mead Five Star paper. A lot of the time I would write a letter it started out almost clear yellow than it darkened to the dried color. It dried almost instantly and the flow was good out of my Lamy Al-Star. I'm going to clean out my Aurora tonight to test with since it has been the pen I have used in the past mystery ink tests. I'm also going to test my Lamy on some other types of paper to see how it does.

Yes it worked this time. Information for future reference: you can Edit or Delete your posts on here forever, so you could have edited it in or deleted the posts where it didn't work and rewritten the post with the scan on it. Just click on Edit post, and Go Advanced to add an image to it. Or Edit Post, then Delete post. You could try it out with post #26...

Thanks for the information, I've never been good with computers and still learning that's why I always post from my phone it was always easier. I might try to edit the 3 to make them into 1.

My favorite result came from using an Esterbrook No. 942 oblique. That's the kind of color and shading I was hoping for when I bought the ink.

Imagine my surprise and chagrin to see faint yellow coming out of a dry-writing, EF Wing Sung pen when I first tried this stuff
    Not happy.

Fortunately, some of my vintage, wetter writers did better but I definitely prefer the dip pen.

Sorry for the messy handwriting below.

    More later...

After sitting in the Ringtop a few days it is coming out a lot darker.

Dry times with the Black-Tipped Jade were 5-10 sec and with the Wahl, 25-40s unless I flexed then > 60 sec.

Here's how the scanned copy looked to the naked eye compared to the scanned copy I posted earlier that made the ink look much darker. It almost gives a gold quality in some places.

Here's a quick writing on HP 22lb to see the difference from the writing I did earlier. I can't wait to see the Aurora since it's a much wetter writing pen, I have a feeling it's going to darken more. I might also try my dip pen with a flex nib and a stub nib to see what comes of that.

    Thanks

I inked a couple of pens today and did my usual playing around with eyedropper for the dregs... and I just had to take a photo of this while it was wet.

This ink is insane! I love it.

    IMG_20190604_205704_edit.jpg

The most diluted parts are ectoplasm-coloured. Even the photo hasn't got quite how neon they are.

As it dries the darker areas get more gold and less green. The light ones still look pretty neon.
