I had this with some bottles of paint I ordered, all the lids were loose and one came off, made a right old mess.

This happened to me the only time I ever ordered a bottle of ink from Amazon.

La Couronne du Comte. Honestly, they weren't packaged well. Bottles were in glass-to-glass contact (Iroshizuku bottles, that's Yama Budo on the pic).

Definitely bad packaging. Will they make good on it?

I asked them to wrap them separately...I mean glass to glass...that's just asking for trouble to be honest.

Hmm, that must have been the odd one out. I have received quite some packages from LCdC and they all were meticulously packed. Which makes sense too - they do most of their business online. Still, this shouldn’t have happened and it is good that they correct it.

Apart from never having anything in stock, I like lcdc too. I have made several orders from them past 2-3 years. This is also the first time anything was wrong with my order from them to be honest. I don’t grudge them or anything, shit just happens sometimes, but I feel like we could have avoided this if they didn’t package them together.

Did lcdc change employees / ownership or do they have additional new employees? Do you know? I get answers from names I haven’t heard before.

This surprises me immensely. LCdC are a quality company.

Welp, I got the new bottles today. They were again packaged in glass-to-glass contact, but didn't break. I really don't understand why they package them like that.

Glad to see LcDC did what they are expected to do.

Yes, they wrap the bottles in very nice paper but tend not to really protect it.
