1940s Sheaffer Triumph Silver Stripe Vac-Fill

This is a nice Sheaffer silver stripe, vac-fill Triumph pen. This is a standard sized pen. Pen has a 14k Triumph nib with a Fine (leaning toward XF) nib. Nib is firm and writes nicely. Filler system has new seal and cover washer. New plunger head gasket. Pen has been cleaned and the barrel has very good transparency. Chrome plating on hardware is pretty good - some loss, but far better than most pens with the chrome plating from this era. Celluloid has some small scratches and little dings to be expected from a pen this age. Imprint is good. Cap turns and snugs down nicely to close the pen - metal threads both on the pen and the cap. Clip is good and solid. Just a nice old silver stripe Sheaffer pen. $75 shipped in the lower 48 U.S. states.
