Thank you!

Did you take the photo for Collectomania too? Lovely to see your pens are stars of the show!
I took a picture of my Safaris on the leaflet of the exhibition. The original poster is without pens because it's an exhibition about collecting, not pens.
..but just for fun, there is a animated version also:

Christof, would you consider sharing some photos/information about your photographic setup? Maybe not so much the actual camera (though I am certain that would be of value) but your area and tools for taking all these marvelous photos of pens and objects? You seem to have settled on an excellent formula long, long ago.

Thank you Ron!
Jon, actually I already wrote about my photo setup once.

But for the most part of my pictures I use another setup which is in fact a mini photo studio:

I hope this is helpful for you (and maybe others?)

The camera and macro lens do make a difference. I expected the setup of some kind from from the even, diffused lighting. Who made the ring light? Software to edit? Combined with your composition skills, the pictures are the best I've seen on the web.

Here is an interesting fountain pen from my past, a German Lomo Stempelschreiber. It incorporated a rubber stamp that folded open for use. I handed it over to Richard Binder at a show maybe 13 years ago, and he brought the fountain pen end back to life and replaced the damaged nib with a 14k Warranted No. 2 nib.

That's a new one to me, Fred, and a very interesting pen!
Then there was the time when the Pelikan Cafe Creme was about to get its innards cleaned. I sucked water in through the section and squeezed! The bulb syringe burst at the seam.
