M: I came here for a good argument.
A: No you didn't; no, you came here for an argument.
M: An argument isn't just contradiction.
A: It can be.
M: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
A: No it isn't.
M: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.
A: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.
M: Yes, but that's not just saying 'No it isn't.'

Here's a great article about technicality vs creativity - READ HERE
For me Person B is where I lean toward, but have no doubt that this is not a simple this or that explanation.
There is no subject so old that something new cannot be said about it.
Fyodor Dostoevsky
Very cool. Congratulations! Pictures to come?

And then there are the pens you wish you still had.

Fyodor Dostoevsky
It was a Sheaffer Legacy ("II", I think) with a touchdown filler that used the gold converters with the red ends. Alas, the touchdown mechanism never worked so I used the chrome squeeze converters instead. It didn't work as intended so I fell out of love with it and sold it. In hindsight, I should have been happy with the squeeze converters because I liked everything else about it, with its inlaid 14k stub nib and solid sterling cap and barrel.

The only pen I regret having sold is this one:
Rheingold von -c_m_z-
It's a Soennecken Rheingold of the very first generation of Rheingolds. The jade color wasn't perfect and I thought that I will find a better one.
Well, 15 years later, I still didn't...

As I recall it was more of a stub than an italic. All Mabie Todd pens of course.

I had forgotten just how much enjoyment this thread can offer, it is really worth it to go back to page 1
Empty_of_Clouds (Yesterday)
Awesome! It's actually one of those directionless threads where a member can jump in randomly and find something of interest.
When you're out and about, here's something you may spot on the skyline:
