Like just about all the Monteverde inks I've tried (that aren't contaminated, but that's another sad story), this one writes smoothly and efficiently without a hint of trouble.
Writes a smoky blue-black line. The paper towel chroma reveals an almost-black center, with slate blue umbra.
The pen is a Wing Sung 3007 (KawecoSport lookalike), fine nib, transparent Pilot-type feed and a little bitty slide converter. So far, so good.
