Hello everyone.

I'm Chris. I live in a little house on the edge of the Peak District, in the middle of England. I loved fountain pens and calligraphy as a boy, but I was indoctrinated into using computers and got lost.
A couple of years ago, I bought a couple of old fountain pens, basically as a favour for a friend who sells things to raise money for the RNLI. Nothing special - an old Eversharp, and a Parker 45. I loved them.
I gave those pens away, then found myself regretting it. I started buying Chinese pens on Aliexpress, and then started collecting "proper" pens.

I have a small but modest collection of British pens from 1950-75ish. Still very much a learner.
