    Nice!

You know...every time I feel bad about my Flex performance, I see a photo of yours that makes me feel better and know that I'm not that far off from where I want to be.
    Thank you.
I have been in this hobby for years, and I still don't know -- neither care about "where I want to be"

All I know is that I enjoy the journey immensely, and a big part of it is because I consider/learn more and rarely dismiss outright, when people share their experience.

That allows me to still refine, and at the same time broaden my taste and preference *and* avoid some pitfalls that are (now) plain to see because I've been further in the hobby.

A shot of the lever would confirm it, as Kraker used a fairly long, slender lever that is quite distinctive.

I think you are correct, Bob.

I deliberately show the Belmont engraving instead of the lever because that is the only thing that identify this pen as made for that brand.

The lever filler is long and slender, which can be lined up with the clip, no sign of celluloid swelling around the lever either.

This is just a very nice sample.

Agree. My thought was that one can think of these as both products marketed by... or made by... Do I stick my Moore made Belmonts in with my Moore Pens, or with my Rexall (Belmont, Monogram, Signet, et al) stash? Personally, as a collector interested in the mechanism, more than the marketing, I tend to be focused on who made it, first. As to the marketing, I do think that the differences between store brand and the manufacturer's other products can interesting as well, as is seen here where differences and similarities are illustrated.

These pens looks good and I am sure one of the best flex nibs that gives a great pleasure to write with !!!

It is SO embarrassing when I don’t clearly recall past posts. Yeesh.

    Found another Belmont combo.

I call the celluloid pattern on this one: "Electric Marble"

The nib came with the pen, it's one that has a huge potential to be a nice stub or italic, I made it so.

Meet, not meet, introduce, not introduce: I hereby truthfully announce that my love for a particular fountain pen lasts as long as it is in my field of vision. I am a hopeless fountain pen floozy. I love them all, including the above combination. I don't even have to own a pen to love it. This might also explain why I am equally happy with my disposable Zebra fountain pens as I am with my antiques or my Yard o' Led, or my Montblanc, or my Platinum Preppys...And now I neeeeeed a Belmont or few.

    ... I'm a hopeless fountain pen floozy.
... every one of them feels like a doozy.
... keep spinning in my head 'till I am woozy.

    (don't worry, I won't quit my job).
