    Default Cerruti 1881

Anyone have any thoughts/feelings about this pen? I picked one up on an auction for next to nothing. It writes well and fits my gorilla hands.

It's a perfume and a designer house, Nino Cerruti, if you are lucky it might be a nice Italian made model. Hard to tell, from a picture there might be enough red herrings to trace the maker. I would guess Cerruti has had more than one pen with their name over the years.

Cerruti have issued a number of pens. I have one in a delightful acrylic that looks as if it is, actually, a rebadged Laban Mento - that's a pretty decent pen. From my experience, Cerruti actually pick quite good pens for their brand, which isn't the case with 90% of fashion brands.

I bought one in the Algarve about 10 years ago, less than 40 euros from memory and a well made pen with piano black barrel. I think these are made by Laban,
