😎 Cool! This is an ink I do not have, and anything with the word 'espresso' is fine with me! Thanks so much, azkid, for the continuing fun.
My other pen is a Montblanc.

Wow I really liked this ink it looks slightly different than the diamine chocolate brown that I had, it seems slightly lighter. For me it flowed great out of my aurora that I do all my testing with. I loved how it was such a well behaved ink and at some point I will have to get a bottle of this along with some other brown inks. I wouldn't have guessed diamine since the 2 diamine inks I had always built up crud and had hard starts, I can't wait for the next MI to see what comes.

    Thanks

Thanks azkid, this was a cool chance to check out a new ink and I *do* like browns quite a bit!

This one was a bit too pigment dense to become a regular in my rotation, but it was another confirmation that Diamine makes excellent and well behaved inks... I had sort of written them off a few years back when I tried two blue-black variants that were both dry writing and seemed to cause feed issues in the pens I used them in.

Thanks also to all who offered in-depth analysis of the ink in applications I wouldn't have used it for, it was quite interesting and informative!

If there's a "next time" for me I vow to clean out a few more pens so I can use the MI more (the clipless Moonman meant that the ink stayed at home, and wasn't an everyday use color) and perhaps offer some better insights.

Again, thank you all for having me in the MI 27 crew

    David-

    So many restoration projects...

@awa54 by any chance was one of those inks Diamine Twilight? If so I don't blame you. That ink only works in my wettest writing pens so it is sort of a pain. But most of the other Diamine inks I've tried are a lot nicer like Espresso.

There is a next time — I started a thread for mystery Ink #28 a week ago. I don't remember if you posted.
