    Default M120s for $139

    Fountain Pen Hospital has Pelikan M120s in both colors for $139.

    Cool Re: M120s for $139

    Or... one could buy a 'vintage' M250 with a gold nib for £150,

    from me here;

    Yeah, I could. But I bought this instead.
    A BLUE one! Sagebrush: it’s everything the reviews said, except for the expensive part. The filigree on the nib is worth the admission all on its own. PLUS the balance, PLUS the little bit of boingy in the nib.
    This is my very first Pelikan! Ive Pilot-ed and Kaweco-ed my way along till now, so this is a big deal. (Even bigger: FPH carries Private Reserve ink, so my blue M120 carries Black Cherry)
    Off to doodle!

    Lol....I have several newer and vintage Pelikans....including most colors of the 140 line. I love 'em all....I've just been wanting this Iconic blue since I first saw it...It will go with my green M&K and black M&K very nicely!
    Thanks anyhow

    I own an IBIS 130, so the size is familiar, and its already green. It’s also a Manifold Fine, and helps me like this nib even more.

    Are ALL Pelikan steel nibs this good?

    Modern Pelikan steel nibs are indeed very good. Vintage Pelikan gold nibs are usually even better.

    (oops, mis-type. My 130 is black. The ink window is green anyway. I shouldn’t type on my phone, sorry)

    I may have to check out SIRs 250... My 130 is used for copier paper, fine and little feathering with Aurora Black. I don’t put Kiwa Guro in vintage pens, but today is a long shift and the new 120 has KG loaded and is ready for a workout. I’ll fill 3 A4 pages with documentation and charting; I’ll have a feel for it by Monday...
