Default *another* Omas question (loose cap bands)

So it looks like the faceted Omas cap bands are crushed on to the cap with a shaped press... at least that's what I'm deducing from the marks left on the ones in my little demi Paragon.

I'm looking at buying a used Milord that shows visible loosness of the small rings either side of the Greek key inset... how worried should I be about this condition (I've had vintage rings that looked terribly loose, but stayed put fine and ones that fell off without provocation) and is there a known/accepted cure?

TIA for any Omas guru takes on this!
    David-

    So many restoration projects...

Have a repairman swage the bands.
