Default Hello from North Carolina in the US

Not much to say here. I've worked a variety of jobs in my life, but the predominate one was public service oriented.

Welcome home. Pull up a stump and set a spell. But first, two questions. East Carolina BBQ or West Carolina? Is Sea Level at sea level?

Neither BBQ, Piedmont BBQ, Hickory Smoked, chopped or sliced. If as a sandwich, on a bun with red slaw and a vinegar/pepper based "dip". Not sauce, "dip." If on a plate served with a side of red slaw, french fries, nice fresh deep fat fried hush puppies and tea or coffee. Then homemade banana pudding for dessert! Eastern BBQ has some ungodly sauce mixed in with the meat and western is but a poor relative copy of Piedmont "Cue!" Any more questions along those lines? LOL

Sea Level.....Truth was I had to look it up for the exact location. But I will say it's "close" to actual sea level. Beautiful country up/out there. If you ever get the chance, you should go.

Don't have any pens right now! I ran into a discussion about pens on another forum which got my attention. Started asking questions about pens which ended up with a suggestion from someone there to take a look at this forum. That person told me you folks were a good group of people open to others. So.....Here I am! Looking to see what I might be able to do in this genre!

Every 4th. of July the whole town holds a Fish Fry. And in reality it's about three inches above normal high tide but the tide range is less than a foot usually. Worth a trip if you didn't have to go the long way around to get there.
