Default Any Source For A Platinum 3776 Feed?

    Hello all,

I open this thread here because I guess it will be read by more people than in the classifieds.

I have a Platinum 3776 with a broken feed, and I need a new one.
If any of you has one spare i can buy, or knows where I can find one, I would be very grateful.

    Thank you.
    Vron M.

I would still have put this in the WTB forum as that's where most people will see it, or look for what other people might want to buy. In the Asian pens forum it might just drop down the list of posts more quickly.

On here the For Sale and WTB forums are separate.

Also, in the WTB forum once you have found it you can mark it sold, and everyone will know you got what you wanted.

This is an easy fix...I've done it before. Just chemically weld it together. MEK or possibly even Acetone should work.

    Thank you for responding.

This is the process i followed and made it work again
    • I ended up using the super-glue to bind it together.
    • Followed up with a straight blade to re-carve the ink channels & fins which were closed shut by super-glue.
    • Then sanded the extra superglue from the feed surface.
    • Finalized the channels again with the blade.
    • Put the nib and feed back
    • inked it up and it worked like nothing had ever happened
