Congratulations. Nothing more apt than a photo of the restored pen and a writing sample to complete your chronicle posts
I have been trying to learn how to post photos. Can you come to my aid? Thank you.
To post here you have to upload your photo somewhere so you can get a static URL which you enter into the field when you click on the Image icon on the top of this editor.

    Where to upload photos?

    Imgur.com is free.
Flickr is also free. I use flickr, the pro version since many years ago.

Either one would work. I don't know if Google drive would give you a static url or not.
Thank you, that's what I was assuming. I used to use a posting site a decade ago, but most forums now allow direct photo uploads from your personal devices.

You can easily upload photos from your personal devices rather than just posting a link.

You need to get your photo to a reasonably small size on your device.

Then if you're posting as a reply post, in a thread, you first need to click on Go Advanced, then you can scroll down to Manage Attachments and upload it directly from your device.

Then once it's uploaded, and you can see it in the lower part of the box, you Insert it Inline into your post. It's by far the simplest method.

Your attachments are always in your profile for you to use any time you like. You can delete it if it's wrong and upload it again.

You're welcome. You could probably use a free picture editing tool for cropping the top of the desk off in your pictures.

Yes, but I was so excited about finally learning how to post photos that I was oblivious to the quality. I promise to improve and post only proper photos in the future. Thank you again, Chrissy.

The recent Deluxe arrived. It came apart easy and I was able to clean and attach a sac. The nib that came with the pen is a Rigid Fine Manifold 9461. This pen had been used more than the first Deluxe I found.

Now I have a Deluxe SM with a 9048 flexible fine nib. Though the lighting may not make it appear so, the colors of the barrel, section and jewels all match. This pen needs some cleaning up, but there was no extra charge for the custom sac.

I assume this model was available in J, LJ, and SJ sizes. If so, then this is an LJ. I like this pen. I'd like it more in a J size.

I don't think the Deluxe is available in all those sizes. The ones I found were all the same size.

How do you like the 9048? I have one of those and it's not exactly a wet nmoodle. I had to work at it to flex mine. Then I am not adept at using flexible nibs.

This is my first 9048 and the pen is still in the state pictured. I'll have to give you a better answer after I've done some work on the pen.

Ooooh that's a really twisty sac. Definitely in need of replacement. LOL
