The writing instruments of the Joseph II Limited Edition reflect the delicate features of the royal crest ornaments. The design is inspired by the imperial coat of arms of the monarch, which is immortalized as a fine engraving on the 18 K champagne-gold nib.

In 1764, Joseph II ascended to the throne to become King of the Romans (King in Germany) and a year later he became the emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. With his enlightenment policy - 'Josephinism' - Joseph II implemented extensive cultural reforms on account of which the cultural city of Vienna flourished anew. As an avid music lover, the monarch was especially fascinated by piano concerts of an aspiring artist: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

    Features:

The Patron of Art Limited Edition 4810 writing instrument is decorated with crosses and oval beads on the cap and body, reminiscent of Austrian national colours.

18 Karat solid gold Medium nib.
