    Default Montegrappa ballpoint silver pen

    Hi guys,

I have a Beautiful Montegrappa solid silver 402 Ballpoint Pen, Hallmarked 925, 1055 VI (Vicenza Italy), There are 4 cartouches on the pen as follows AD, picture of eagle or Phoenix, 71, 96. Gold plated accents on the clip, top and bottom of pen and middle joint section, this is the only info I’ve found that seems to match but wondered if anyone could tell me for definite or any more about it.

It’s a lovely pen and weighs about 34 grams

    Many thanks

I’ve got pics but don’t know how to upload them

The 300 and 400 series of pens were slim and well balanced. They were fairly early in Montegrappa's return to higher quality pens.

    Montegrappa History.

The 300/400 series were the bases for several of the current slimmer Montegrappas.
