Re: New Pen Day
David, I have encountered at least a pen and a clip (no idea where it came from, part of a bulk purchase) that was branded Accurate.
I do not have the records on whether that brand is a stand alone, or (more likely) a sub-brand or store-brand.
What I do recognize is the shape of the metal brace around the lever. I've seen a lever frame or brace in that shape on some Eclipse fountain pens, and I do know that Eclipse has several sub-brands like Marxton, Park Row, and a few others.
So maybe Accurate was another sub-brand of Eclipse, maybe it's just a brand that someone hired Eclipse to produce for them. Or maybe it had nothing to do with Eclipse, without a complete records (or a time-machine), who could really know?
I think this one you will like and will stay with you.

Re: New Pen Day
I mentioned this in our correspondence, but I think this is also useful for others here in the forum:
With ebay being the largest marketplace for vintage fountain pens, the spectrum of seller quality are as wide as it is tall (read: very wide and very tall).
So to counter that massive variations, I adjust my expectations that I most likely not get *all* that I wanted in a single purchase. Unless I am willing to pay the exorbitant price that some sellers ask.
