Have a look at this rare one-off Sheaffer. (Link plucked from the other place.) "EXCELLENT."
Somewhat entertaining to admire the seller's imagination, but caveat emptor!*

Ok, I'll bite and admit ignorance on vintage pens, what is wrong with it, Fred?

It's a (non-disclosed) Frankenpen, cobbled together from different parts from very different eras.
Bad idea. Bad choices. Bad faith.
Vintage. Cursive italic. Iron gall.
I mean, it is one of a kind...
Not just different eras, but different brands. That's a Montblanc clip. Not sure about the cap. The lever box looks Waterman, shoved into a Sheaffer barrel of what model? It's sorta cool, like a '50s hot rod.
It looked to me like the barrel had actually been adapted (and not particularly well) to accept that lever box properly. When I say adapted, maybe that should be "roughly gouged out."

that is perhaps the most glorious frankenpen I've ever seen...I'd pay $30 for it.

All the description says is "Excellent". I wouldn't buy it for that reason alone. Descriptions like that on Ebay will make me want to not bid.
