Question Noodler's Konrad's piston jammed. Help!

The piston is not turning. I also tried to disassemble the whole pen but the piston is not screwing off from the body at the back and the friction fitted nib is not coming off as well. I don't feel comfortable to apply more force. What can I do?

Try gripping the piston assembly with a bit of rubber (like a jar gripper) and see if that provides enough purchase to unscrew it. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT grip it with pliers--even if you've padded them with a towel or hanky!

If you've never removed the piston assembly before, it's going to be difficult the first couple times. I've had the same issue with my Noodler's pistons. Chances are you just need to remove the piston assembly and work the piston a few times to get it set correctly again.

I have a Jersey Devil as well. If you break yours while trying to fix it, I'll send you mine.

How about an update? You haven't contacted me to send you the Jersey Devil Konrad that I have, so I'm assuming you were able to resolve your issue satisfactorily...
