This is an excellent and enjoyable pen. The nib is super smooth and just as you would expect from Montblanc. This is a piston fill fountain pen, so you need bottled ink to fill it. The ink window does not show in the pics as I have ink in the pen.

Please look at the writing sample picture to see how it writes as well as the ink sample. I will flush the pen prior to shipping it out
