    Default Are PenBBS color runs "one and done"?

    I hope not, since there are colors that I really want which are either completely gone or only available in models I won't use

    Hopefully folks who have been on the PenBBS train longer than me will know the answer!

    They often come back again - they tend to do runs of a given model or two in different colours at once. (But given the number of models they have now, no idea when/if any given one will be redone!)

    sometimes it seems to me as if the pen models themselves are one and done.

    It does seem like they make some models that only offer interest to pen geeks, so a long interval between batches of some of the less mainstream styles isn't a huge surprise.

    If I understand the model correctly, this is not a big, ongoing pen enterprise but a set of pens that are manufactured for a large group of pen enthusiasts - not onlike Fountain Pen Network or similar. They pick styles, filling systems, materials, etc that they think the group will be interested in. I don't expect it is the kind of operation that will be making standard models of pens in common setups and materials over a long period. I certainly get the feeling that if you see something you like you should probably get it.

    I've only recently seen a pen that that made earlier in an interesting acrylic; I have a different model that uses is to lesser effect. However, looking at their offerings it is clear they don't have the original being made at the moment and I don't actually figure they will. I may write to Beini, who seems to head all this up, to see if they will bring out another run, and ask the more general question that the OP poses.
    "When Men differ in Opinion, both Sides ought equally to have the Advantage of being heard by the Publick;
    and that when Truth and Error have fair Play, the former is always an overmatch for the latter."
