What I call the P-51 Mark III was the later 1960's 51, with a clip styled just like the clip on the Parker 61 and the 75. The Mark III barrel is shaved off at the back end, or what would have been the blind-cap end on the 51 Vac. The clutch ring, the ring that fits against the hood and meets the barrel, is a thin single ring. On the earlier P-51, both aerometic and vac, the clutch ring is doubled, with a small piece between the two rings.
