I spotted this ebay listing for them but the seller has a negative feedback from one buyer saying it wasn't delivered. You would get a full refund from ebay if that happened.

I am not quite sure as for the authencity - packaging looks weird. Sure, Pilot has supplied converters even without any packaging at all, but when it was packed, it looked rahter like this:

But I am not a Pilot expert by any means (and shamefully refill cartridges in addition )

That's the version they would put in their pen boxes, but I don't know about those that the Chinese ebay seller is selling.
It's not much of a risk: $6.99 and free delivery. "If you don't get what you paid for", then you're protected by ebay and get a full refund. It probably depends on whether you can buy one from anywhere else.

Have you searched online pen sellers to see if any are available within the Country where you live?

Indeed, after all it's just the simpliest converter, nothing much to fail at Btw as for the negative feedback, it is always the same with Chinese sellers - they offer decent prices and a free shipping, the shipping is obviously economy and sometimes get lost... and many buyers immediately leave a negative feedback despite the refund

No, both here and anywhere else in Europe all CON-50 are gone except somebody finds an old piece by accident. Only CON-40 and CON-70 are sold locally, the first one I despise, the second one I do own nevertheless rather use refilled cartridges.

CON-70's aren't that easy to find, but they are still available on Amazon.

Going to give the $7 ebay one a shot. If it will fit my Vanishing Point, fill up fully, and not leak then i'll be happy with it whether it's really authentic or not.
