Default Some Diamine Guitars and such

Guitar inks and others. Quick riffs via dip pens.

I like the colors, but have only used the Yellow as a mixer. Desert Burst was in a Kaweco Sport with 1.1 italic nib for a while and was very well-behaved. I now have Pelham in a 'squid,' a Pilot Plumix, and it reads a bit lighter than when dipped with a glass pen.

It's nice but too similar to many of my other tealish blue blacks.
My other pen is a Montblanc.

And my other blog is a tumblr!

I am ambivalent about the Diamine Les Paul inks; I agree Pelham Blue rather generic. However I do quite like Desert Burst in my Pilot 823. The FA nib is a wet writer so the ink sometimes shades nicely, dependent on paper.

True; I saw some Desert Burst shading from the Kaweco italic nib. The Pelham (Like just about all Diamine inks I've tried), is also pretty well-behaved.

The Yellow might even be legible as a writer, not just a mixer.

I had a Les Paul Sunshine Yellow Santana guitar. Looks better on the guitar, though.

I’ll bet the guitar also sounds better.
