Default restored old pelicans... where to buy?

I had a few restored Pelicans (some nice ones: 400NN, 140 EF) which I sold. I don't recall where I got them, but it was from a guy's website and he had a few for sale. Any ideas where some restored old Pelicans can get purchased?

You might find some answers in the Pelikan forum. Otherwise, keep an eye on the Classified For Sale threads or maybe even ebay.

I don't know what he does as far as online sales, but I've purchased a number of items, just as you are looking for, directly from Miroslav Tischler at pen shows (SF and LA). I believe he is known online as penkalapens. Not sure if that is a help but he usually has a good number to choose from and excellent pieces at reasonable prices.

Miroslav is a good adress - penkalapens on ebay.
penboard.de is operated by four different persons. probably you bought from Tom Westerich which Incan recommend.

(...from time to time I also have some nice Pelikan for sale. What are you looking for exactly?)

I got both my 1956 400NN and 1950s 140 from Penalusa.com but not sure if he still has those models in stock or not (might have, but may not be on his website yet)

I've been out of the loop for years and just saw the new to me Pelikan M120 green black. So nice (and expensive). Deer in the headlights time. Decisions decisions.

1 - used M120 for sale around $133 USA (before shipping (from overseas))
    2- The Penguin restored 1950s Pelikan 140 - $160

I was confused when I saw the prices after you said 'expensive', since relatively cheap compared to Pelikans in general.

The one upside to the 1950s 140, is that they tended to come with semi-flex/springy nibs if you like that feel, most the modern Pelikans are pretty firm by comparison.

But I feel like if you're going to spend upward to 160, consider the vintage 1956 Pelikan 400NN. A bit longer, slightly bigger nib (which can be unscrewed and is interchangeable with the 200/400/600 series of Pelikans).
The main 400NN that's going to hit 200 and up is usually the brown tortoiseshell (like shown on the M400 in the picture below), or has a verified flexible or uncommon nib.

The last two here is the 140 (1950s Export), and 400NN (1956) so you can get an idea of size/appearance difference (though most 140s will commonly have the same green stripes)

And again, but with the 140 at the end

I don't normally make recommendations, but in this case Rick Propas is your guy. His prices are a bit high - over $300 for a 400 tortoise - but the quality is good.
