Default Looking for an Oldwin Classic

Hello! Anyone looking to sell an Oldwin Classic? I am looking to add one to my collection but am not finding one on the morastylos.com website that I like. Please get in touch if you’re interested in making a deal. Thank you for considering!

I suggest you contact Mark Hoover https://www.lbepen.com who specializes in French pens, is fluent in French, and has a good relationship with Monsieur Mora. Mark is based in Maryland, but the most reliable way to make contact with him is face to face, and he will be at the Baltimore/Washington International pen show at the end of the month.

Thank you for the generous response and tips! I’ll check out this website and look to meet him at the show at the end of the month. Appreciate it!

    M. Mora was at the LA Show last weekend with a large selection of Oldwins. You might try emailing and asking if he will be at any other shows this yer where you might see his pens.

Bummer! He could have mailed them to dae_ls from within the USA.

They were extraordinary to look at in person. I've seen other people saying that, oh, these pens aren't the same now that the pen group "The Family" has taken over manufacture. I don't know about that, and it seemed a lot of the carping was about prices, but my word they certainly were lovely pens.

As was the incredible white cassein Decoband Syd was showing!

Thank you all - I certainly wish I had known Mr. Mora was in LA...I would have had friends gone by! I’ll email him to learn if he will be attending any other shows. Baltimore and DC are close to me. Fingers crossed.

By sheer chance when looking at a website based on a postcard I received in the mail today from a fellow Geek, I stumbled upon a stateside source for Oldwin pens: The Pen Family. Read Our Story. Could they also be the manufacturers of Oldwins for Mora Stylos?

Yes, but apparently - at this time, at least - just a single, limited-edition pen.

Thank you both - I’ve connected with Mr. Mora and I’ll look forward to seeing him in DC. All the best!
