    Question Hello from Serbia

Hello everyone. I,m new at forum. I searched for info for my fountain pen which I get from my great grandfather for years and I dont found anything about pen. Can you help me, inform me? At attached pictures on cover(cap) is written Loro 6(or Loto 6) and on nib 14 kt. gold plated. Sorry for my bad English. Best regards.IMG_6080.jpgIMG_6078.jpgIMG_6084.jpg

Welcome home. It looks like what was often called a "School pen", one that was relatively inexpensive with a steel untipped nib. It may even have the rolled nib tips that were found on the least expensive models any student could afford.

Welcome! Your English is more than a million times better than my Serbian! (Yes, that's right, I know absolutely no Serbian.) You express yourself quite clearly; thank you for making the effort.

I'm afraid I can't identify your pen. However, if it helps, to me the first letter looks more like a capital "C" than a capital "L." I can't make out the third letter (p?), but the last letter looks like a "y" and not an "o" to me. So I'm not seeing Loro or Loto, for what it's worth.

By the way, my grandmother (my mother's mother) was from Serbia, and my grandfather from Croatia.

Thank you. Yes, I would love to see some photographs of old Serbian coins. We have a sub-forum called "The Lounge" where people can post anything they care to discuss, not necessarily related to pens. And I'll bet you could even post a few coin pictures here without anybody's nose getting too terribly out of joint (idiom meaning becoming upset or angry).

    Srdačan pozdrav!
