Sailor Kobe no. 38 Kitanozaka Night Blue

I posted this review over on FPN, but forgot to do so here, so let me remedy that right now.

My first Kobe ink. I was hoping for a nice blue-black, and this is a little darker than I'd hoped, at least coming out of my Sailor's M nib. I ended up selling it.

I should point out that the scan makes the ink look bluer than it is on paper. I'll try to take pics of the writing sample this afternoon!

I am not keen on blue blacks except Waterman's. That only because it changes to a teal shade. I have been curious about the Sailor inks and may try a sample at the very least.
