    Default Architect grind

I'm looking for something with an architect grind. Prefer gold or palladium nibs. Looking for good line variation. I seem to prefer pens on the wet side.

    What do you have?

I have a couple of architect nibs, also a few different sizes of fude nibs (great for line variation when drawing). Not too thrilled with my zoom nib. Vintage stub flex is another good option.

I see you are apparently fairly new here, though not sure if you are also new to fountain pens. If you can't find a pen with an architect nib, it is easy to have a nib ground to that configuration and the cost is modest. There are quite a few nibmeisters who can do this, either at a pen show or if you send the pen to them. You might want to look into that option.

Thanks. I'm aware. I don't have any pens I want to have altered right now.

I guess my point was that if you have trouble finding a pen you like with an architect grind, you can buy a different pen and have the nib ground into an architect point.

In any case, good luck with your search.

I agree that this is the way to go. Pick a pen you want and get it with an architect grind nib. Much better than getting a pen you might not like just because it happens to have an architect nib.

Many places will customize the nib when you buy a pen. A site that many peole recommend is nibsmith.com

I get it. Looking for a used pen with the grind already.
