Ranga Bamboo, JoWo 1.1

Received on Saturday this Ranga Bamboo in premium ebonite w/ 1.1 JoWo nib. Spent Sunday writing and reveling in this beautiful pen. While I have acrylic pens, there's something about ebonite that feels special and more tactile in the hand. As I continue to use fountain pens on a daily basis, I'm un-inking my acrylics and going back to ebonites, metal bodies, and celluloids.

I'm not leaving all plastics behind, but it seems that so many acrylics are cold to the hand and to my eye.

The folks at Ranga were extremely nice to work with, excellent communications, and delivered the pen in 16 days. First-rate craftsmanship.

I'm so pleased I ordered 2 Model 8Bs with JoWo nibs today.

Now back to writing and enjoying the warmth of ebonite.
