That's what happens when you watch too much cow porn!

Thanks. I'll make that change so as not to offend Wisconsin dairymen.

Isn't that a small marine mammal with webbed feet?

    Udderly contemptible and vile...
Online arguments are a lot like the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
As soon as the audience begins to participate, any actual content is lost in the resulting chaos and cacophony.
At that point, all you can do is laugh and enjoy the descent into debasement.

I believe my error has been milked to death. In these perilous times, it behooves us to moove forward and put this silliness out to pasture.

So, on the bright side, it seem il Donaldo has decided he does not need to listen to DR Fauci and that he gets better intelligence from Jared.

Social distancing is the wrong phrase. Something I won't be doing, as that would mean not being on social media, nor hanging out on forums, not writing letters, not speaking to people over the phone, or electronic means.

However, I do practise physical distancing.

For lunch, I'm smoking a pork tenderloin to go with homemade ciabatta, marinated green beans, little red potatoes, and blueberry cobbler with whipped cream.

Nothing special but I'll be happy to fax you a plate!

    Cheers.

Just about done. Check your fax machine in 15 minutes.[/QUOTE]

That looks great! Where's the rest of the meal?

Imagine if "faxing" meals were possible. Huh. A 3-D printer/oven thingy.

Or... I could just cook something. Hahaha.

My son-in-law is a RN at Vanderbilt. They are moving many of the nurses from surgical sections to the isolation/infectious disease area in an effort to support the growing numbers of patients. Today was his first day working with Corona, just waiting to hear how it went.

I cannot believe how life has changed.

Just one month ago the first thing I looked at each day was the weather forecast, of rather less interest was the TV news about Brexit, Prince Harry and Meghan.

Now all I want to know is will I be alive in 14 days time.

Yes we've been asking ourselves if we will be alive in 14 days time too. Especially as our fence contractors visited yesterday to finish off our fence. That was a good job done at the last minute because I don't think they can do any more work now. However, they are two "non-family members" we have now had contact with in our garden.

At our age my OH and I believe that we probably won't survive if we catch it, so we have to make sure we don't catch it.

Yesterday I was eyeing up a little pen from Pure Pens that currently has 10% off. In the end I didn't buy it because I might not live long enough to get much use out of it.

I was listening to a Spanish intensive care doctor yesterday on how they deal with situations where they have people in critical need but only limited resources.

She said that if they have two people who need a ventilator, one in their 20s, the other in their 60s, she would give the ventilator to the younger person on the basis that they had the best chance of making a full recovery.

I have a customer who badly wants the two blue marbled Swans I have. I had to tell him I can't send them to him for the moment as I'm reluctant to go to the Post Office - a total virus haven. He offered to pay me anyway and I could send the pens when the crisis is over. I had to say no. Who knows if I'll be here to send the pens at the end of all this?

My OH went to the supermarket yesterday to restock on the varieties of fresh fruit and vegetables that we regularly use. We both agreed that he would not go into the Post Office to pick up a leaflet on the new increased mail prices as that was non-essential and would be an unnecessary risk for both of us.
I ended all of my ebay listings weeks ago in order to ensure we wouldn't need to make any visits to the Post Office. For letters, we can use our "daily exercise limit" to walk to the post box.
I now have to wait for another week to see if I get any symptoms after having had the fence contractors visit us yesterday.
On TV we've just seen the report of the despicable dregs of human beings coughing and spitting into the faces of police officers. It just beggars belief.

I didn't see that. That's awful. I would say they should be locked away for a long time but then someone has to look after them. Subhuman creatures.

That is terrible, there should be a charge of attempted murder for such an act.

I would make a terrible copper, every piece of lowlife that had caused harm to others would get tazered first before any discussion.

Absolutely no mercy given to those that do harm to the emergency services personnel.
